HELP
PROTECT

OUR MAIL.

Whether it brings something as special as a handwritten card or something as necessary as medication, the U.S. Postal Service ("USPS") is the only institution capable of going the last mile to reach, serve, and tangibly link every American—and now it needs our help.

In the shadow of COVID-19, demand for mail, and appreciation for it, is surging. That's why we need to make sure the U.S. Postal Service can deliver for all of us.

The way we greet one another is in danger of being lost.

WHY?

Mail is getting more expensive.

The cost of first-class mail and “forever stamps”are increasing at an unprecedented rate.

Charities and other nonprofits, magazines, community newspapers, and catalogs are facing even bigger postage hikes, which stand to drive some out of business.

Businesses generate 90% of USPS revenue, so less mail in the system means prices will eventually keep going up, no matter what.

Mail is moving slower for everyone.

The U.S. Postal Service is delaying service, even as we continue to grapple with COVID-19. Americans across the country are taking notice.

Starting in October, the one- to three-day service standard for first class mail  officially became to one-to -five days.

For many Americans, especially in rural areas, it still is a lifeline and always has been.

We need to keep the U.S. Postal Service delivering reliably and affordably.

Here's why:

Support legislation to stop unnecessary postage hikes & delays.

The U.S. Postal Service is rampantly raising postage at rates far above inflation — something that has never been done before. Thankfully, federal policymakers can help put a stop to these historically frequent postage increases.
